Cool and mostly dry weekend ahead: Alicante weather forecast September 21-24
Both day and nighttime temperatures will fall by a few degrees across Alicante province in the coming days
The weather this coming weekend will take a notable shift towards the autumnal, with temperatures at the height of the day falling from the low 30s we’ve been experiencing to somewhere around the mid 20s. The nights will also become far more comfortable and with the exception of a few stormy episodes in the north of the province, the weekend should remain mostly dry and pleasant.
Thursday September 21
Slightly cloudy skies will predominate on Thursday but the evening will be more overcast in most areas. The cloud cover could produce some weak and scattered showers in northern Alicante in the evening.
For now the temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: 16ºC to 27ºC
Alicante: 19ºC to 30ºC
Denia: 19ºC to 30ºC
Elche: 17ºC to 30ºC
Orihuela: 18ºC to 31ºC
Friday September 22
Friday will again be mostly clear or slightly cloudy with intervals of medium and high clouds in the southern half of Alicante during the morning. The northern coast will likely experience some showers early on but this should clear after a few hours.
Both day and nighttime temperatures will begin to fall.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Friday
Alcoy: 15ºC to 24ºC
Alicante: 19ºC to 29ºC
Denia: 19ºC to 27ºC
Elche: 17ºC to 29ºC
Orihuela: 17ºC to 29ºC
Saturday September 23
Looking ahead to Saturday, a day of slightly cloudy or clear skies is expected again. The biggest difference will come in terms of the temperatures, which will drop by several degrees across the board, most notably along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Saturday
Alcoy: 13ºC to 24ºC
Alicante: 17ºC to 27ºC
Denia: 18ºC to 26ºC
Elche: 15ºC to 27ºC
Orihuela: 15ºC to 27ºC
Sunday September 24
Sunday will bring mostly clear skies with some low morning cloud cover along the Alicante coast. Minimum temperatures will drop again by a couple of degrees while the daytime temperatures should hold steady in the mid 20s.

Alcoy: 13ºC to 25ºC
Alicante: 18ºC to 27ºC
Denia: 17ºC to 27ºC
Elche: 16ºC to 27ºC
Orihuela: 17ºC to 28ºC
