ARCHIVED - Concerts, events and activities in Redovan this September
The municipality, in the Alicante province, has organized a fun programme for both residents and visitors throughout September
The annual Fiestas in Redován will not be going ahead for the third year in a row, after being suspended in 2019 due to the DANA storm and in 2020 due to Covid-19, but the local Town Hall has organized a series of culture and leisure activities to entertain locals and visitors.
Although typical Fiestas’ activities such as parades and processions will not go ahead this year, there are a series of shows and events planned during the month of September:
- Saturday, September 11, 10.00h: Intergenerational Caliche tournament for grandparents and grandchildren at the Third Age Social Centre.
- Saturday, September 11, 17.30-20.30h: ‘Al amparo de tu manto’ exhibition at the salón parroquial, which will be open until October 2. The display is designed to showcase the municipality’s history and culture.
-Saturday, September 11, 22.00h: concert by ‘Los Happy’s’ in Plaza Miguel Hernández, with prior reservation via the Redován Town Hall.
-Sunday, September 12, 18.00h: ‘El jorobado de Notre Dame’ childrens’ theatre performance at Casa de la Música, with prior reservations by calling or sending a Whatssap message to 635 593 022.
-Friday, September 17, 21.00h: Youth Dance Gala at Plaza de la Paz, with free entry until occupancy is reached.
-Saturday, September 18: ‘El maravilloso mundo de Drilo’ musical for children at Plaza de la Paz, with prior reservation via the Redován Town Hall.
- Saturday, September 25, 10.00h: Intergenerational Petanca tournament for grandparents and grandchildren at the Third Age Social Centre.
-Saturday, September 25: indie music concert by Señor Aliaga at Plaza de la Paz, with free entry until occupancy is reached.
-Tuesday, September 28: concert by Unión Musical de Redován, with free entry until occupancy is reached.
