Camposol property auction sees home sold for less than half the home's value

A property located on Calle Jódar in Camposol's Sector C was sold at auction on Monday January 13, 2025, for a significantly reduced price, reflecting a steep drop from its estimated value.The public auction, which was listed on Christmas Eve, remained open past its deadline by 47 minutes, suggesting competitive interest among bidders. Ultimately, the winning bid was 41,587.38 euros, which is just over a third of the property’s assessed value of 115,520 euros.
This result highlights a sharp contrast with average asking prices in the area, as the sale concluded at less than half the typical figure. It remains unclear whether the property’s condition or other factors contributed to the low final bid.
The auction has drawn attention due to the location, the timing of its listing and the considerable disparity between the sale price and valuation.
