While most of Spain is gearing up for storms and much cooler temperatures this week, the weather in Alicante province is looking much steadier by comparison. The days ahead will bring plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and light coastal breezes, with only subtle changes in cloud cover and temperature.

 

 

The week begins with a mix of early low clouds that should move off to reveal clear skies by midday. Some high clouds may drift through in the afternoon. It will stay warm but easterly winds will pick up a little near the coast during the afternoon.

 

 

Expect mostly sunny skies with some high clouds on Tuesday. Inland areas may see a few more clouds by the afternoon.

 

Night-time temperatures will climb slightly inland, while the coast stays the same. Daytime highs will rise a bit across the board. Winds will stay light in the morning and pick up later in the day.

 

 

Wednesday should again be mostly clear and bright with the odd smattering of high clouds.

 

Daytime temperatures will remain largely unchanged but the night will be much warmer in the north of the province. Winds will stay light early on and turn breezy again in the afternoon.

 

 

Another partly cloudy day with slightly cooler temperatures all around. Winds will follow a familiar pattern, light in the morning and breezy later on.

 

Both day and night-time temperatures could drop by a degree or two.

• Tuesday June 10: Min 19ºC; Max 32ºC
• Wednesday June 11: Min 19ºC; Max 33ºC
• Thursday June 2: Min 17ºC; Max 32ºC
