Benidorm Terra Mitica theme park reopens on May 17
The famous Costa Blanca amusement park gears up for another thrilling season
Brace yourself for an exhilarating ride, as Terra Mítica, the renowned Costa Blanca theme park in Benidorm, prepares to kick off a new season on Friday May 17. Its doors will remain open until November 3.
A theme park spokesperson has promised that "Terra Mítica will once again vibrate with the fun of its more than thirty attractions that range from those with the highest adrenaline, such as Syncope or Titanide, to family ones such as Icaros or Puerto de Alejandría."
For the little adventurers, the Benidorm amusement complex has plenty of kid-friendly havens like Rome and Greece, complete with pint-sized versions of famous park attractions.
Miniature renditions of blockbusters like Akuatiti, the baby sibling to Nile Falls, and Syncopín, the junior version of the massive Syncope swing, grant younger visitors a taste of the action.
The indoor tour attractions are also among the "most acclaimed by the public of Terra Mítica." Labyrinth of the Minotaur impresses with elaborate settings and eighty intricate robot characters dispersed throughout twelve gripping scenes.
However, Terra Mítica's true pièce de résistance has to be its spectacular performances. Featuring epic musical productions, comedy acts, magical escapades and spellbinding spectacles like Spartacus, Honour and Courage or Dreams of Egypt, the park truly embodies history in motion, leaving audience members breathless and bewitched.The aquatic recreation areas are "essential to complete a perfect day at Terra Mítica," according to the park spokesperson. Finally, the park has swimming areas in Egypt and Iberia where you can enjoy pools, slides, games and all kinds of refreshing fun.
