Beaches on and near Santa Rosalia Lake and Life resort, Murcia
Enjoy the sun and sand of the Mar Menor and at the Santa Rosalía Lake & Life Resort itself
The Santa Rosalía Lake & Life Resort is ideally situated near the beaches of the Mar Menor, and also has its own artificial beach on the enormous crystal lagoon that gives the resort its name.
The 16,000m2 Crystal Lagoon, located right slap bang in the middle of the resort, comes with 8,000m2 of pristine, white sandy beach. This manmade wonder is a private beach that is only for use by homeowners on the resort and their guests. The water lapping the shores of the Santa Rosalía beach is essentially one massive swimming pool where you can not only swim but also try your hand at water sports like paddleboarding and kayaking. The water in the lagoon works on a closed-circuit system, which means all the water is purified and reused.
Leaving the resort proper, if you travel east towards Los Alcázares town, the nearest Mar Menor beach is just 10 minutes away. The Mar Menor is a giant natural saltwater lagoon, the largest in Europe, and also offers facilities for water sports along with swimming and sunbathing.
The closest beaches to Santa Rosalía Lake & Life Resort are the Playa de Manzanares, the Playa de Carrión and the Playa de la Concha in Los Alcázares. Other beaches like the Playa del Espejo and the Playa de los Narejos are also very close.
