The Welsh megastar brings his Defy Explanation tour comes to the Plaza de Toros in Alicante

August 13 Tom Jones in concert in Alicante! It is now over 60 years since Tom Jones first reached Number 1 with It’s Not Unusual, and it is safe to say that in the course of his long career he has reached true megastar status, with fans of all ages and scarcely anyone in the British Isles being able to claim that they don’t know who he is!

Despite the fact that he will have turned 85 by this summer he remains as energetic and full-voiced an entertainer as ever, and as part of his latest world tour he is performing on Wednesday 13^th August at the Plaza de Toros in the city of Alicante.

The concert is scheduled to begin at 21.30 (although the gates to the arena open two hours beforehand) and such is Tom Jones’ popularity that tickets are priced at between 60 and 115 euros.
