Arista Kats Cattery La Puebla Murcia

Arista Kats is a family-run cattery in the quiet Spanish village of La Puebla which offers the perfect holiday for any cat while his or her owners are off on travels of their own. Arista Kats is owned and run by Mike, Louisa and Sam Chandler.

The family have a long history of caring for animals, having previously run a successful smallholding in Mid-Wales for 20 years. Moving to the Region of Murcia in 2004, the Chandlers decided to take their love of animals, and cats in particular, and set up a cat residence.

 

All the facilities are purpose-built, clean and spacious, and provide plenty of natural light for the comfort of the ‘guests’, giving as comfortable and stimulating environment as possible during their stay.

 

Accommodation is available for individual cats or multiple-cat families; and for indoor or outdoor cats, depending on what they are used to at home. Each enclosure allows access to windows (for that all-important view) and a secure outside run.

 

For those rare occasions when the Murcia weather turns nasty, the whole place is fully windproof and watertight, offering full protection from any inclement conditions.

 

Cats with regular medication needs can be managed without difficulty and Arista Kats can offer a pick up and drop off service for clients convenience. We are unable to accommodate any guests with infectious disease or guests which are terminally/gravely ill.

 

 

 As well as a safe and secure (and comfortable) home away from home, Arista Kats provide daily grooming and play sessions for each animal, with plenty of cuddles, love and attention for those cats that enjoy it.

 

Room service is twice daily and regular checks are made to ensure that guests are happy and relaxed.

 

The aim is to provide each cat with the best possible individualised care throughout the period of their stay. A flexible, tailored package of care is provided to ensure that each cat settles quickly and happily into the cattery with minimal disruption to his or her daily routine. We will always try to accommodate our guests' wishes regarding room choice. However, sometimes, during the first stay with us, we may feel, after careful monitoring, that a room change would be in the best interests of our guest. As always, their happiness is paramount.
