ARCHIVED - Norwegian airline launches three new winter routes to Spain
The airline will connect the Canary Islands and Norway between October and April
Norwegian announced this week that it will launch three routes between the Canary Islands and Norway from October until Easter 2023.
Flights between Gran Canaria and Sandefjord will operate every Sunday from October 30 and the Tenerife South to Stavanger route will run each Saturday beginning November 5. Finally, a third flight from Tenerife South to Bergen will operate on Saturdays from November 5.

“Tenerife and Gran Canaria are destinations that are high on the list of places that Norwegians want to visit in the winter season and, therefore, at Norwegian we continue to expand the offers from cities in Norway with direct routes to these popular destinations for the winter season 2022/23,” Magnus Thome Maursund, Executive Vice President of Networks, Pricing and Planning at Norwegian said on Monday.
“The route from Stavanger to Tenerife is an absolute novelty for us and we hope it will be well received,” he added.
The flights from Gran Canaria to Sandefjord and between Tenerife South and Bergen will reopen this autumn after a two-year hiatus during the coronavirus pandemic.
From this Saturday, there will also be a summer flight from Bergen to Corvera airport in Murcia, southeastern mainland Spain.
