After the recent dramatic storms in parts and sharp temperature drop across the east, Andalucía gets a much quieter week. The unsettled conditions give way as calmer, sunnier weather takes hold, though the easterly winds keep things lively around Cádiz and the Strait throughout the period.

 

 

A mostly clear or partly cloudy start to the week, with low cloud along the Mediterranean coast through the morning and a slight chance of the odd light shower. Temperatures are broadly unchanged, though the eastern interior sees maximums nudge up while the eastern Mediterranean coast edges back a little. Almería and Granada benefit from the clearer skies, though it's the winds that are the main story: easterlies could bring very strong gusts around Cádiz, with a wind warning in place for the province and gusts of up to 50kph expected during the afternoon. Winds are lighter along the rest of the coast.

 

 

Another largely clear day, with low cloud lingering along the Mediterranean coast in the morning and a slight chance of light rain near the Strait of Gibraltar. Temperatures continue rising across most of the region, with Córdoba and Seville both pushing up towards 36°C. Minimums dip in the western half. Winds turn westerly in the western half of the region during the afternoon, while moderate easterlies persist in Cádiz with strong gusts around the Strait. Tarifa, as ever, bears the brunt.

 

 

Mostly clear and sunny, with some low cloud along the Mediterranean coast burning off through the morning and another slight chance of light rain near the Strait. A pleasant mid-week day across most of Andalucía, with temperatures unchanged or marginally higher. Easterly winds strengthen in the province of Cádiz, turning moderate to strong, so Huelva and the Atlantic coast to the west will feel considerably calmer by comparison.

 

 

A fine and largely sunny end to the period. Low cloud around the Strait of Gibraltar in the morning clears through the day. Temperatures hold steady with little change. Winds are light and variable across most of Jaén and the interior, while Málaga enjoys another comfortable day along the coast. Cádiz sees moderate easterlies continuing, though the stronger gusts of earlier in the week ease off.

A week that feels like a genuine return to form after last weekend's seasonal jolt. The sun is back, the temperatures are nudging up again and, for most of Andalucía, it's a pleasant early-autumn week.
