Andalucía weekly weather September 15-18: Summer warmth lingers with sunshine and coastal clouds
Pleasantly hot inland, sunnier and warm along the Mediterranean, with a few clouds and gentle breezes

Monday September 15

Expect mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies, with low cloud and mist along the Mediterranean coast and the Strait early on. Afternoon clouds may develop over the eastern inland mountains, especially near Granada and Huelva, with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures remain warm, ranging from the high twenties near Malaga to the upper thirties inland, with Seville reaching around 36°C. Winds are generally light, though easterly winds pick up along the coast.
Tuesday September 16

Another warm day with mostly clear skies. Morning mist and low clouds linger briefly along the coast and the Strait. Córdoba could see temperatures in the high 30s, while Cádiz enjoys a milder 30°C by the Atlantic. Winds remain light to moderate easterlies on the Mediterranean coast, becoming stronger near the Strait and Tarifa, with some breezy southerly spells inland.
Wednesday September 17

Dry and mostly sunny again, with only brief coastal low clouds and mist near Almeria and Jaén in the morning. Daytime clouds may build over the eastern mountains but rain is unlikely. Temperatures are comfortable along the coast, hitting high twenties to low thirties, while inland spots warm to mid thirties. Winds stay light to moderate, occasionally breezy by the coast and Strait.
Thursday September 18

Clear skies prevail with some morning coastal mist along the Mediterranean and Strait, particularly near Almería. Inland Cordoba faces a hot day, possibly reaching 41°C, while coastal areas will stay warmer but breezier near 30°C. Moderate easterly winds strengthen along the coast and Strait, with lighter winds and moderate southerly breezes inland.
It looks to be a week for sunscreen, hats and plenty of water, especially for those venturing inland. Summer warmth is holding on in Andalucía, with classic sunny days and just the odd touch of cloud to remind us that autumn is still a few weeks away.
