Andalucía weekly weather forecast March 16-19: Sunshine, strong easterly winds and a touch of warmth
Bright days with blustery Levante winds and temperatures edging up midweek
After a cooler, rather mixed weekend, Andalucía moves into a sunnier but breezier spell, with plenty of blue sky for many places but a noticeable easterly wind, especially around the Strait and the Cádiz coast. Temperatures sit in the high teens to low 20s to start with, then creep up as the week goes on, giving things a more springlike feel by Thursday.Monday March 16
Andalucía weather forecast, Monday March 16Monday is mostly fine, with clear skies and just a few patches of early low cloud or mist in places. It is a chilly start in the east, with a little light frost possible in the higher spots near Granada, but daytime values lift nicely, reaching around 22 °C in Huelva and 23 °C in Seville. Winds begin light and variable, then turn easterly and freshen through the day, becoming moderate along the coast, while around Cádiz the breeze strengthens later with gusts that could feel quite brisk by evening.
Tuesday March 17
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday March 17On Tuesday it stays largely sunny, although high cloud drifts into western areas later on, giving more of a hazy look to the sky. Temperatures rise a touch so that most of the region is at or above 20 °C in the afternoon, with Málaga the cool spot at around 19 °C, while minimum temperatures in the Guadalquivir Valley change little or dip slightly. Easterly winds continue, light to moderate inland but moderate along the coasts, and Cádiz again sees stronger easterlies early on, with very gusty conditions gradually easing during the afternoon.
Wednesday March 18
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday March 18Wednesday turns cloudier for a time, with mid and high cloud spreading across Andalucía and a chance of some light rain in the west during the first half of the day, including around Córdoba. Through the afternoon skies begin to clear from west to east, so many places end the day on a brighter note. Temperatures only shift slightly, leaving most areas close to the low 20s, and the easterly breeze is gentler than on previous days, remaining light inland and moderate at the coast, including near Jaén’s neighbouring lowlands.
Thursday March 19
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday March 19Thursday is set fair again, with mostly clear skies and just some low cloud around the Strait area at first, where a light shower cannot be ruled out, and a few clouds edging into the far eastern corner, affecting places such as Almería later. Temperatures change little but feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine, with Seville expected to climb towards 28 °C and Córdoba not far behind. Easterly winds pick up once more, light to moderate inland and moderate along the coast, with strong, very gusty conditions returning in the Strait and around Tarifa.
This brighter, breezy pattern looks likely to persist into the following days, keeping Andalucía mainly dry with plenty of sunshine and early spring warmth.
