Andalucía weekly weather forecast June 9-12: Inland heat, hazy skies and a few mountain storms
Expect a warm and dusty start to the week with some unsettled skies and the odd thunderstorm before clearer weather returns

Monday June 9

Skies will be overcast at times, with widespread mid and high-level cloud. In Granada and the surrounding sierras, afternoon storms are possible and could bring strong gusts of wind. A light haze of suspended dust will linger throughout the day. Minimum temperatures will fall slightly along the Mediterranean coast, while maximums will remain high inland but drop elsewhere. Winds will be mostly light to moderate, with stronger Levante gusts near Almería and the Strait.
Tuesday June 10

The cloud cover continues, with some brighter spells. There is still a chance of showers or the odd storm in the eastern mountains later in the day. Temperatures stay steady inland in areas like Córdoba, and may rise a little along the Mediterranean coast, such as in Málaga. Winds will come from the east, strengthening slightly along the coast and turning southerly in the western half of the region.
Wednesday June 11

Skies remain rather grey, particularly over northeastern areas like Jaén, where occasional rain or a thunderstorm is possible. The hazy conditions will persist. Temperatures drop further, especially inland and along the Atlantic coast like Cádiz. Westerly winds will dominate in the west, with variable breezes elsewhere.
Thursday June 12

Conditions improve with more sunshine and just a few streaks of high cloud. It will feel fresher in the morning, but maximum temperatures will start to rise again, particularly in the west around Seville. Winds will be light to moderate, with a westerly flow along the Atlantic and an easterly breeze in the east.
It will be a week of shifting skies and inland heat, with some showers in the mix. But by Thursday, more settled summer weather looks set to return.
