Andalucía weekend weather forecast February 27-March 2: Cloudy skies, showers and the wind picking up
There will be a mix of cloud, rain and strong coastal winds this weekend

Thursday February 27

Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday February 27
Cloudy skies will dominate across Andalucía, with only brief clear spells during the middle of the day. Light rain is likely in western areas such as Huelva, Cádiz and Seville by late afternoon. Morning mist and fog patches could affect the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines, including Málaga and Almería, as well as the Strait of Gibraltar. Temperatures will remain mild, with little change overnight. Winds will be generally light and variable.
Friday February 28

Andalucía weather forecast, Friday February 28
The weather takes a turn for the worse, as a yellow weather warning is in place for persistent and occasionally heavy rain, particularly along the Atlantic coast, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the western Mediterranean coast. Towns such as Cádiz, Algeciras and Málaga could see thunderstorms. The Levante wind will begin to pick up in the afternoon, becoming strong along the eastern Mediterranean coast, affecting areas such as Almería and Motril. Snow is possible in higher altitudes, with the snowline dropping to 1,800 metres by the evening. Temperatures will drop slightly, particularly during the day.
Saturday March 1

Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday March 1
Another mostly cloudy day with light to moderate rain expected, especially in Mediterranean areas such as Málaga, Almería, and Nerja. Rain will be more likely and intense in the afternoon. Western Andalucía, including Seville and Córdoba, may see some brighter intervals but still with a chance of scattered showers. Minimum temperatures will remain steady, while maximums will rise slightly in the west. Winds will be light and variable, except for coastal areas where the Levante will continue to be strong.
Sunday March 2

Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday March 2
Sunday will be another grey and damp day, with widespread cloud cover and light to moderate rain across the region. Temperatures will drop, particularly during the day, making it feel noticeably cooler. Winds will continue from the east, remaining strong along the coasts, particularly in Almería and Málaga. Overall, a wet and breezy end to the weekend, with little sign of improvement heading into the new week.
With strong winds in some areas, an umbrella might not be your best bet, if you’re heading out this weekend, so a good raincoat could be the smarter choice.
