Alicante weekend weather forecast March 20-23: Showery but mild
Widespread showers are forecast in Alicante province as storm Martinho hits Spain

Average temperatures expected on Saturday March 22
The Vega Baja region of Alicante is right on track to registering the wettest March in the last 70 years and this coming weekend will add to the tally. Although the rain won’t be quite as torrential over the next few days as in other parts of Spain, Alicante will still feel the impact of storm Martinho, which is rapidly approaching from the Atlantic.
Thursday March 20

Thursday will be cloudy overall but the day will be punctuated by plenty of bright, sunny spells. Northeasterly winds will feel blustery along the coast in the afternoon.
Both day and night-time temperatures will climb, hitting 21ºC in many areas.
Friday March 21

Following overnight rain and stormy intervals, Friday will be mostly overcast with some light morning rain, but the skies will clear up in the afternoon. Light, variable winds will develop strong gusts during central hours.
Few temperature changes are expected.
Saturday March 22

Saturday will be partly cloudy with light, scattered showers forecast across the province. Temperatures will drop slightly inland with no changes expected along the coast.
Sunday March 23

Sunday will be another unsettled day with cloudy skies and light rain forecast in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop sharply across the board and the breeze will feel much stronger along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this weekend
- Thursday March 20: Min 9ºC; Max 21ºC
- Friday March 21: Min 10ºC; Max 22ºC
- Saturday March 22: Min 9ºC; Max 21ºC
- Sunday March 23: Min 6ºC; Max 18ºC
