Alicante weather forecast January 13-16: Sunshine but cooler temperatures
The skies will be blue and the sun will shine all week in the province of Alicante
This week will bring blue skies to the province of Alicante, with little to no cloud cover for much of the week, but temperatures are expected to fall slightly from last week, and will sit around the 15ºC mark during the days and near 0ºC at night.
Monday January 13
High 15ºC Low 3ºC
Skies are set to be clear throughout the entirety of Monday January 13 in the province of Alicante but the temperatures will fall from last week.
Highs will reach 15ºC in the day, and drop at night to around 3ºC at their lowest. Furthermore, there is little chance of cloud cover throughout the day for much of the province.
The wind is expected to be light and will reach speeds of up to 8 kph in the province. The wind will be coming from a southeasterly direction throughout much of the day.
Tuesday January 14
High 15ºC Low 2ºC
The forecast is for yet another clear day on Tuesday January 14, with temperatures set to remain mild, reaching 15ºC in the afternoons. However, lows at night will fall to just 2ºC.
The wind will be much stronger, however, especially along the coast, where the State Meteorological Agency has issued a yellow weather warning for windspeeds of up to 45-55 kph and waves as high as 3 metres tall.
Wednesday January 15
High 15ºC Low 4ºC
The fine weather of the previous two days is set to remain as we go into the middle of the week on Wednesday January 15. The day will be full of sunshine, mild temperatures and clear skies for many parts of the province.
Maximum temperatures will remain at 15ºC during the day, and minimum temperatures during the night will rise slightly from the day before, up to around 4ºC. The wind is also looking to remain low and will reach speeds of up to 8 kph.
Thursday January 16
High 16ºC Low 7ºC
The weather looks to remain much the same on Thursday January 16, as the sun is expected to shine throughout Alicante. A certain level of cloud cover may be present along the coast at times, but overall the sun is going to shine for most of the day.
The temperature is looking to remain the same from the previous three days, with highs of 17ºC in the day. The minimum temperature will be just 7ºC at night.
Following this, there is a strong chance of rain and storms sweeping down into Alicante on Friday 17.
