Alicante man vandalises estate agency because noisy neighbours move in downstairs

An Elche man has been arrested for kicking the front window of his local estate agent’s office because he was reportedly upset that the agency has rented the apartment below his to people who were making too much noise.

The man, who had been driven to distraction by his new noisy neighbours, had apparently complained to the estate agent before, but nothing had been done about the noise.

In protest and desperation, it seems, the man “broke the glass of the shop window by kicking it several times,” according to the business owner.

He is also said to have shoved the estate agent and shouted at him before heading for a coffee at a nearby café.

When Elche Local Police caught up with the man, he calmly admitted to having caused the damage, explaining that “he was fed up with the owner of the letting agency” and that he intended to keep on bothering him until he kicked out the tenants.
