After a weekend of ups and downs, the springtime instability is expected to continue in Alicante this week with a mix of sunshine, clouds, light rain and even thunderstorms on the horizon.
Temperatures will dip slightly midweek before climbing again toward the weekend. Those blustery winds that have been present over the last few days will shift directions frequently, adding to the unsettled feel.

Tuesday May 6

Even more cloud cover is forecast for Tuesday with a chance of light rain throughout Alicante province. Temperatures will begin to fall, especially along the coast where the mercury will drop to just 21ºC at the height of the day. Winds will start from the west, move to the southeast in the morning and become light and variable by evening.
Wednesday May 7

Another cloudy day is on the cards with possible light showers. Temperatures will remain steady overall, although the highs could dip slightly. Winds will be light and changeable, leaning easterly by midday before calming again later on.

On Thursday we can expect partly cloudy skies to start, with a strong chance of thrundery showers during the central hours of the day. Minimum temperatures may drop slightly, while daytime highs should start to edge upward. Winds will be light and variable, with occasional breezy spells in the afternoon.
