Airport Bus Service to Alicante City
There is a direct bus journey from the Altet airport to Alicante City Centre for just 3.85 euros
There is an ‘Aerobus’ shuttle bus service (line C6) connecting the Alicante Altet airport to the city of Alicante, running every day every 20 minutes.
The journey costs just 3.85 euros (2016) and last approximately 20 minutes.
It is a direct journey to Alicante centre so no transfers are needed, and the shuttle bus does a loop around the city, stopping at a number of different stops including the main central bus station, the Alicante terminal train station, Plaza de los Luceros, Plaza Puerta del Mar (by Positguet Beach), Museo MARQ and Mercado Central on Avenida de Alfonso el Sabio. All of the buses have information systems installed with automated voices and on-screen messages informing passengers about the next stop, destinations, transfer lines and the time.
All of the Aerobus shuttle buses have free wifi and large baggage compartments for passengers to put their luggage in (free of charge) so that they can sit comfortably during the journey. The vehicles also have ramps to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
The bus stops for the Aerobuses at Altet airport can be found outside on the second floor (above the arrivals floor), which can be accessed via the escalators or the elevators.
The Aerobuses are clearly marked with the bus line 'C6', and are coloured blue.
