ARCHIVED - Woman rescued from car on AP-7 in Pilar de la Horadada
The accident took place near the border between Valencia and Murcia
A female driver was rescued from her car on the AP-7 near Pilar de la Horadada, close to the border between the Region of Murcia and the Valencia region, on Wednesday afternoon (July 28), after an accident in which the car veered off the motorway and landed on its side.
The emergency services in Murcia first received a call at 12.49pm and firefighters, a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) and the Guardía Civil were all sent to the scene, along with the Policía Local from San Pedro del Pinatar.
After being rescued from her overturned car by firefighters, the 21-year-old was taken to the ‘Los Arcos del Mar Menor’ Hospital in San Javier with minor injuries.
