ARCHIVED - Still time to sign up for free Spanish classes in Alfaz del Pi
Spanish courses for expats have already begun in the Marina Baixa town, Alicante province, but there are a few free places
Two free Spanish courses, organised by the Alfaz del Pi’s foreigners’ department to enable expats to gain knowledge of the language and help with social integration, have already started, but there are still a few free places for anybody interested in signing up.
Classes take place at the Playa del Albir Social Centre, and for beginners, there is an A1 Spanish course (basic level), on Mondays and Fridays, from 9:30am to 11am. An A2 Spanish course, aimed at people who already have basic knowledge of the language, takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9.30am to 11am.
Alicante Provincial Council is funding the courses, taught by philologist Ana Isabel Zaragoza Llorens, so “students only have to buy a textbook”.
Anybody interested in learning or brushing up on their Spanish can register either directly at the Centro + Social on Avenida Corts Valencianos, 3, or by calling 965 887 328 (ext 3368) between 9am at 3pm.
