The cumulative incidence rate in Murcia has dipped once more to stand at 568 cases
The rollercoaster that is the coronavirus pandemic continues in the Region of Murcia: at the beginning of the week, health care workers breathed a sign of relief as both hospitalisations and ICU admissions took a welcome nosedive, only to jump up again on Wednesday August 3.

Of the total cases, 80,541 have been diagnosed in people over the age of 60.
Cumulative incidence rate
The latest data provided by the regional health authorities on Tuesday show that the 7-day cumulative incidence rate has dropped even further to stand at 253.62 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
The average incidence over a two-week period also reflects this slowdown, decreasing significantly from 634.04 cases last Monday to 568.51 today.
This brings the Region of Murcia very close to the Spanish national average, which is currently at 475.95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
