ARCHIVED - San Javier treasure hunt shopping campaign with prizes for all customers
Customers are guaranteed a prize with every 20 euros spent and there are even bigger prizes on offer for those who visit three or more of the participating businesses
The department of Commerce in San Javier and the hospitality association, Hostesan, have organised a promotional campaign for the sector called “La Búsqueda del tesoro”, in which 46 local businesses will be participating.
The campaign is taking place from June 19 until July 4 in different areas of the municipality of San Javier.
For each purchase over 20 euros, customers will be given a scratch card with a guaranteed prize, which could be two beers or refreshments, two coffees, two alcoholic drinks, two portions of tapas or a 20 or 25 euro voucher to be spent in one of the participating establishments.
Customers will also receive a card with a QR code which will show a map with the location of all of the participating businesses.
Once the card has been stamped three times, the client will be entered into a draw with even bigger prizes, such as vouchers for 50 or 70 euros, or even a night in a hotel. The winners of this draw will be announced on social media once the event is over.
The main objective for this campaign is to reactivate the hospitality sector after the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic and, in addition, publicize the establishments located in areas of the municipality which aren’t as familiar to tourists, allowing these businesses to reach a new customer base.
