Exposición Canina 2013  and XXIV Nacional y XX Internacional Competitions

The dog show at IFEPA is one of the most popular events at IFEPA and  is also the most visited dog show in Spain. It is also renowned for the numbers of, and quality of, the participants, only behind Madrid.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Sociedad Canina de Murcia, the Murcian Dogs Society. A wide variety of breeds of dogs participate, from not just Spain but across Europe, including the American continent, competing for points in the Spanish Championships ( Campeonato de España C.A.C.,)  (Certificado de Aptitud al Campeonato Nacional, the certificate of aptitude in the national championships), and the C.A.C.I.B (Certificate of aptitude in the International championships, Certificado de Aptitud del Campeonato Internacional) as established by the Real Sociedad Canina de España  and the Federación Cinológica Internacional.

The competitions take place in specified rings with a panel of international judges.
As well as the various competitions there are also several special breed competitions organised by the relevant clubs.

In addition there is a parallel programme of displays and exhibitions, including agility trials, performances by specific hunting dogs such as that of the ratonero bodeguero andaluz, farmdogs herding a flock of geese, dog obedience displays, police dogs, and different dog skills displays by national specialists.
And no dog show would be complete without the trade stands selling animal grooming products, photography, pet portraits and pet products.

An unmissable event for anyone with a love of dogs.

The show is open from 9am to 8pm on Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sunday.
