Pedro Acosta has won three of his first four Grands Prix at the age of just 16
Just a few weeks shy of his 17th birthday Pedro Acosta, a young motorcycle racer from Mazarrón, made history at the weekend when he became the first rider ever to finish on the podium in his first four Moto 3 world championships.
By winning the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez, Acosta extended a remarkable start to his Moto3 career, which has seen him finish 2nd, 1st, 1st and 1st at the beginning of the 2021 season. As a result he leads the championship with 95 points, 45 clear of his nearest rival!
