ARCHIVED - June 5,13 and 19; Nights of culture by the Mar Menor in Santiago de la Ribera
The “Noches de Arte y Cultura a orillas del Mar Menor” event, organized by the department of Culture in San Javier, will take place on June 5, 13 and 19
The department of Culture in San Javier has organized the “Noches de Arte y Cultura a orillas del Mar Menor” cycle, which will include three different theatrical performances in the cultural centre in Santiago de la Ribera during the month of June.
The first spectacle, on June 5, is called “Spanish Bizarro” and is presented by the Zoo Cabaret company and includes dancing, music and lots of raucous Spanish humour (language specific with dialogue in Spanish).
The next performance, “Érase otra vez Romeo y Julieta” is aimed at a younger audience and will take place on June 13 at 7 pm. This children's play, which won the National Juvenile Performance Arts Award in 2017, transforms the classic characters of Romeo and Juliet into a toad and a frog.
To finish the cultural event, a musical performance (“Música a tres / J.S. Bach e hijos”) will be given by the “La Tempestad” chamber music formation on Saturday June 19.
Tickets to these performances are available to buy from May 25 and cost between five and ten euros.
They can be purchased from Monday to Friday, from 12 pm until 2 pm, from the department of Culture in San Javier, located in the town hall, but the number of tickets available is limited due to occupancy restrictions.
