Looking for a fun day out for all the family before Christmas? Look no further, as Jumilla Town Council has announced that its exciting Trade Festival will return on Saturday December 17, complete with fabulous wares from the 23 participating businesses, children’s entertainment in the morning and afternoon and a concert for all ages with Los Happys from 7.30pm.The fair day will kick off at 10.30am in the vicinity of the Teatro Vico and the tourist train will circulate throughout the streets all day.The shops which have signed up to the campaign have each donated a prize to complete a hamper worth 1,000 euros which will be raffled on the day. As of Tuesday November 29, the stores will be handing out tickets for the massive prize to their customers to enter the draw.In addition, promotional gifts will be distributed among participating businesses to deliver to their customers. This trade fair, officially called 'Consume Jumilla', was initially launched in 2020 "with a clear, simple and clean image with a direct message that aims to support consumption and purchases in Jumilla," council representatives explained at its launch this week.A media campaign will also begin in the next few days to highlight the treasures that can be found in Jumilla and to call on the community to support local businesses and enjoy everything the municipality has to offer. You might also like: 600 tourists visited Jumilla for Wine Tourism Day eventsImage: Ayuntamiento de Jumilla
