ARCHIVED - Hiking route though Tebar in Aguilas: January 22
Activities in honour of San Antonio Abad are going to be held in Águilas, Murcia, this weekend
To celebrate the San Antonio Abad festivities in the outlying district of Tébar (Águilas), the Town Hall and the Tébar neighbours’ association have organised two activities this weekend.
Due to the Covid situation in the municipality, which has also caused the iconic Águilas Carnival to be postponed, this year’s programme has had to be largely scaled back and the only activities to go ahead are those in which Covid restrictions can be applied.
On Saturday January 22, there will be a hiking route though Tébar with the municipal archaeologist as a tour guide. The route begins at 8.30am at the Tébar social centre.
On Sunday January 23, a Mass is going to be held in honour of San Antonio Abad on the promenade opposite the Tébar social centre at 1pm.
