ARCHIVED - Guardamar reopens public pool for the summer
For four weeks there will be free entry to the municipal pool in Guardamar in the Vega Baja comarca, Alicante province.
Guardamar del Segura on the Costa Blanca has reopened its public pool for the summer with free entry for at least four weeks of the season.
The municipal pool with children's swimming area and lifeguards reopened today, Wednesday, June 16, and will remain open until September 15, from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 11.30am to 8pm on the weekend.
And from today until June 30, and September 1 to 15, there will be free access.
At other times, entry costs €2, with reduced rates for pensioners and students registered in Guardamar, a hugely popular coastal resort which is just 3km from Torrevieja and home to around 1,100 British expats.
