ARCHIVED - Convict arrested for threatening to kill health workers helping him at Granada hospital
Police have arrested a 22-year-old Moroccan man after he was accused of threatening to kill health workers at a Granada hospital who were treating his injuries following a brawl in the street.
The incident reportedly took place at around 4 am at the emergency room of the Granada Traumatology Hospital where the man was being treated after being injured in a fight.
Police say the man acted aggressively towards staff before he later kicked an automatic door and threatened to kill health workers. The door the man kicked was reportedly left stuck ajar, preventing wheelchairs from entering the hospital’s emergency room.
Once officers arrived, they interviewed the man and arrested him on suspicion of threats and property damage.
The suspect reportedly already has around 30 arrests and was previously banned from Spain for five years for being in the country illegally.
