ARCHIVED - Aguilas calls on unvaccinated people to get their jabs as soon as possible
The municipality urges citizens to get vaccinated and has cancelled some social events and activities in a bid to get the Covid cases in Águilas under control
Following a rise in Covid cases in the municipality, Health authorities in Águilas urge any unvaccinated people between the ages of 20 and 99 to book their appointment as soon as possible.
The Águilas Town Hall has stated that there are still vaccine slots available for this Friday, July 30.
Around 2,500 vaccines will be available for residents in Águilas, who can book an appointment online on the Murcia Health System website, on the mobile app ‘Cita previa SMS’, by calling 900 12 12 12 or in person, at the Casa de la Juventud Capri, in Águilas.
The information and vaccine appointment services are available at Casa de la Juventud Capri from 9am to 2pm from Mondays to Fridays.
In an effort slow the spread of the virus in the municipality, the ‘Popular’ race, scheduled for Sunday, August 1, has been suspended.
Other social events and activities were also cancelled last weekend (July 23 to July 25) in Águilas.
