ARCHIVED - 22-year-old found dead in recycled clothing container in Málaga
The young victim got stuck while attempting to take clothes out of the container and the emergency services in Málaga, Andalucía, were unable to save him
During the early hours of Saturday morning (July 31), a 22-year-old man, of Maghreb origin, died after becoming stuck in the opening of a container used to collect recycled clothing in Málaga.
The victim had attempted to take some of the clothes out of the container by climbing half-way into the deposit using a chair.
Emergency services were called to the scene, the Arroyo de los Ángeles neighbourhood in Málaga, but they were unable to save the young man.
Reports indicate that the victim died from suffocation inside the container after becoming stuck. The body has since been taken to the Legal Medicine Institute in Málaga for a post mortem.
