ARCHIVED - 2023 Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena extended to three days with Deep Purple topping the bill
Season ticket prices unchanged despite an extended line-up for the second edition of Rock Imperium
Just six weeks after the resounding success of the first Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena, which brought together dozens of metal and rock bands and attracted over 40,000 spectators to the open-air auditorium in the city, the bill for the 2023 event is already taking shape with the legendary Deep Purple set to lead the line-up.
The appearance of Deep Purple was announced on June 24, and already as many as 14 other bands have joined them on the bill for June 23, 24 and 25 next year. Among them are “power metal” legends Helloween, along with Angel Witch, Tygers of Pang Tang and a yet-to be-announced special guest group on the final day of the festival.
Other names featuring in the line-up include local groups Elure and Skull Mania, Soen, hard rock stars H.E.A.T., Ciclon, Jolly Joker, Rise To Fall and The Black Tree.
Despite Rock Imperium 2023 being programmed to last three days instead of two, it has already been announced that the price of tickets to the complete festival will remain at 140 euros.
