ARCHIVED - Última Llamada art exhibition in Cartagena draws attention to the plight of the Mar Menor
Interesting exhibits created by local artist Pablo Cros Bernabeu at the Palacio Molina
An eye-catching exhibition of artwork is on display in the Palacio Molina in Cartagena until 30th June, featuring the work of local artist Pablo Cros Bernabeu under the title of “Última llamada”, a “last call” for steps to be taken to save the marine environment of the Mar Menor.
Among the exhibits are a telephone which was immersed in the water of the lagoon for 6 months before being converted into an objet d’art, a bottle collected from the seashore and decorated with shells, sea snails and other items from the water, and various other challenging compositions.
The exhibition at the Palacio Molina is open until 30th June on weekdays except Mondays from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00, and at weekends from 11.00 to 14.00. The venue is closed on Mondays.
