Orihuela Playa tourist information point
This services residents in the coastal urbanization areas of Orihuela Costa
The Orihuela municipality has three different points from which tourist information can be requested, and this office is conveniently situated in the heart of Orihuela Costa to offer a local service near to the beaches and main focal point of foreign residents in the municipality.
Oficina de turismo, Orihuela ciudad
The main Tourist Information office in Orihuela is in the Plaza Marqués de Rafal, inside the former palatial residence of the Marqués de Rafal.
However work is underway on a new tourist office nearby in the Plaza Teniente Linares, so this information will change in the near future, although no definitive date for the move has yet been set.
For most visitors this is the recommended first port of call, as the maze of narrow streets in the centre make it almost indispensable to have one of the excellent street maps provided by the Town Hall, and the staff are keen to point visitors in the right direction whether they are looking for museums, religious monuments or any other aspect of the facilities and attractions of Orihuela.
There are two other tourist information points, one on the coast in the Playa del Oriol, Playa Flamenca ( tel 966 76 11 00) Urbanización Platja Flamenca, and in the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre where it is possible to obtain a map.
